Samuel Baggen telah merilis build pengembangan baru Elive, sebuah live CD yang menawarkan window manager Enlightenment 17 yang telah dikustomisasi berbasi Debian stable :

The Elive Team is proud to announce the release of the development version 1.9.56. Changes: 3G phones – more than 300 new operators added; Internet module – if you connect with a 3G phone, the configuration will be saved and you can set it to automatically connect at boot; Icedove – when installing Icedove, it contains by default a very nice-looking Elive-style template; Flash updated to version 10.0.42.34; installer – some fixes regarding the boot of Windows systems; Linux kernel version 2.6.30. Note that this is a development version.
