Release candidate 3 contains both bug fixes and new functionality over previous release candidates and betas. New in 8.0-RC3: there is a volume importer in the storage application, this has been tested in scenarios that are limited to what can be devised in our labs; since the ZFS upgrade procedure is non-reversable, this must be run manually, please do not upgrade your pools unless you are absolutely sure you’ll never want to go back to other systems; support for 3ware 6 Gbps RAID controllers has been added, as has the CLI utility tw_cli for managing 3ware RAID controllers; the GUI supports access via HTTP or HTTPS protocols; link aggregations can be created and configured from the CLI interface.
