Steven Shiau merilis versi baru GParted Live, distribusi Linux live CD spesialis, berbasis Debian GNU/Linux dengan tool grafis untuk manajemen disk dan pekerjaan penyelamatan data. Versi 0.11.0-2 hadir dengan GParted yang terupdate, kernel Linux terbaru. GRUB 2, Dillo 3.0.2 dan sebuah peramban web yang sederhana dan ringan dan berbagai macam update paket dari Debian cabang testing. Kutipan dari changelog:

This is GParted Live 0.11.0-2. New in this release: the underlying GNU/Linux operating system is based on the Debian ‘Sid’ repository as of 2011-12-14; new GParted release 0.11.0; Linux kernel has been updated to 3.1.5-1; program NTFS-3G has been updated to 2011.10.9AR; GRUB 2 instead of GRUB 1 is included in the release since most of the modern distributions use GRUB 2 already.
